Über Bruno
Bruno Félix is a Portuguese vibraphonist, pianist, and music educator currently based in Essen, Germany. He is pursuing his Master’s degree in Jazz at the Folkwang University of the Arts, where he studies with Professor Thomas Rückert. Originally from Portugal, Bruno lived in Porto for over a decade, where he became an active member of the local jazz scene through associations such as Porta-Jazz and Eixo do Jazz.
With a strong background in both classical and jazz music, Bruno has performed in numerous festivals and collaborated with acclaimed musicians across Europe. Alongside his work as a performer, he has dedicated himself to teaching, with several years of experience guiding students in percussion, vibraphone, and piano.
As a teacher, Bruno is known for his patient and engaging approach. He focuses on helping students develop musicality, creativity, and a solid understanding of jazz and improvisation. His piano lessons are ideal for beginners and intermediate players who want to explore jazz harmony, rhythm, and freedom of expression through improvisation
