My classes usually start with:
-a quick review of the previous session
-small discussion ( through which we learn extra vocabulary)
For the listening skill, I usually ask my students to “shadow”. It is a famous technique that helps students enhance their ability to recognise vocabulary, to develop pronunciation and speak faster.
Throughout my courses, I help students battle the “writer’s block” that lies in every step of the journey of Learning English. This is sometimes intertwined with reading practices, and sometimes is asked to be done creatively.
There are many great ESL books out there that I recommend, but I will decide which publisher and which level , after I fully assess the student.
