¡Hola! My name is Josefina, and I’m a native Spanish speaker from Uruguay, now living in Geneva. My passion for teaching began during my time as a volunteer helping children in schools, and now I want to help you learn Spanish in a way that feels natural, enjoyable, and truly effective!
I spent 18 years in Uruguay before moving to Switzerland, giving me a deep, firsthand understanding of Latin American culture. Whether you want to learn Spanish for travel, social connections, or professional growth, I’ll help you not only master the language but also explore the richness of Latin American traditions, expressions, and ways of life.

This lively and engaging Spanish lesson is designed for learners who want to socialize and make connections in Latin American settings—whether you're traveling, making new friends, or just wanting to engage with the vibrant culture. This class focuses on real-life, everyday Spanish spoken across Latin America.
Some things students will learn in these lessons are as follows:
- Essential greetings
- Casual and friendly phrases to understand and engage in conversation with native speakers
- How to order at restaurants
- Latin american slang and expressions to be more immerse in the culture
- Different key understandings of cultural etiquette
- Among other things
The lessons are relaxed and fun. After having learnt the basics of the spanish language, lessons will be more focused on speaking and practicing with real-life scenarios rather than being grammar heavy.
By the end of this class, you’ll feel more confident and natural when socializing in Latin American Spanish, making it easier to connect with locals and enjoy the culture more fully.
