I have given lessons in a variety of areas to a variety of ages.
My first teaching experiences were actually as a Private Singing Teacher. Here I helped 4 students with applications to some of London's most prestigious Music and Theatre Schools. I am pleased to report all achieved successful offers of enrolment.
As a Private English tutor, I have provided help and support to two Undergraduate students (one Literature / one Sociology). Both achieved satisfactory marks, higher than previously expected.
I have also been privileged to work under some of the UK's top professors in this field and have learned a great deal when it comes to personal development and one-to-one tuition.

Hi!
I'm a Distinction Level Master's degree graduate. My speciality is the work of William Shakespeare, but I have vast experience and academic knowledge of English literature ranging from Old English to contemporary texts. I'm able to give lessons up to (and including) Undergraduate level but any age or ability is fun. Please don't hesitate to get in touch with your requirements and I can provide a more detailed, customised lesson plan for you.
I have experience of working one-on-one with individuals of all ages in the past (from little 'uns to grown-ups) and am able to alter my teaching style to suit the needs of the student. My preferred technique is, to use a slightly fancy phrase, the Socratic Method. This involves questioning to develop critical thinking and is a wonderful way to really enhance understanding.
I'm friendly and patient. Smiley and funny. I'm also clear, precise, and ready to push your study to new heights.
