Über Anton
Hi, I’m Anton. I’m 44 years old and come from England where I was born and raised. I’m half German and speak both English and German fluently. I also speak a bit of Spanish, Mandarin Chinese and French. I’ve been teaching English for over 20 years now (3+ years as an online coach). I spent 17 years living and working in Taiwan where I taught English to adults and kids of all ages and levels, in both private and public schools. A few years ago I achieved a life goal of opening my own restaurant. A British restaurant in the heart of Taiwan. I ran the business for 8 years after which I sold it and moved to Germany, where I've been living for the past 2 years. I love music, cooking and cycling/hiking in nature.

Over the past 2 years, I have developed a structured and interactive course based on wide ranging, engaging and interesting conversation topics. My method is extremely effective.
A few days before the lesson, I will send you a slideshow which is divided into 2 sections. "Pre Class Activities" which you complete before the lesson. This typically includes an interesting video about an engaging and relevant topic, and some vocabulary exercises to help get you familiar with the subject and some new words and phrases. Part 2 is called "In Class Activities" and these are the slides we will use during our live lessons. These slides give you an opportunity to talk about the topic using the new words and phrases. Aside from this I will create a document to help us keep track of all the lessons and to assign some review work, notes and tips for improving.
My lessons will not just improve your English, but they will also improve your general knowledge about important topics that people are talking about all around the world. This makes my lessons immersive, educational and fun.
I have taught online English for over 3 years now to 100's of students from all around the world. I currently have around 20 happy, long term students who have been with me for more than a year.
