Über GaYeon
I graduated in Korea as a Fashion Design student at Ewha Woman's University. Already 7 years ago, after I completed my high school, I started teaching and mentoring. It was then that I discovered my passion for teaching. I taught Korean to foreigners who lived as ex-pats in Seoul but also gave drawing and illustrator classes. After I worked as a stylist in Seoul I moved to Vietnam and continued as a stylist. Later I started to work in a Korean company where I led the Marketing department with 4 people. Simultaneously, I worked as a Korean teacher for Vietnamese Idols/Pop Stars which gave me great joy. Over time I started to extend my teaching from a one-on-one basis to teach whole groups.
September 2019 I moved to Germany to learn more about this culture and to work on my photography project.

I fit my classes to the individual need for my students. So they are in the center of my teaching. I helped before to prepare for specific exams but most of the time my students preferred to improve their communication ability. I like to include current topics and trends in Korea, sometimes use photo material and give an overview of what the Korean youth and more adult population are thinking about.
If not specified differently I use a Korean Textbook to give the class more structure and a clear target roadmap for my classes.

Gayeon war meine Koreanisch Lehrerin für mehr als 4 Monate und ich war sehr glücklich mit Ihrem Unterrichtstil. Ich hatte zuvor bereits etwas Koreanisch gelernt aber Gayeon hat sehr schnell verstanden auf welchem Level ich bin und den Unterricht dementsprechend für mich angepasst. Ich fande die Einheiten sehr effizient aber hatte auch viel Spaß! Gayeon ist eine offene und nette Person kann sie nur wärmsten empfehlen
