Über Tina
I am a native English speaker, have an Ivy League degree from the US and am an experienced interviewer/test-taker, have an M.Sc. from TUM. I have taught English and coached many students through interviews, Internat/boarding school applications, and provided supplemental English enrichment.

Depending on the goals, learning style, level of English, and personal interests of the student, I create individual lessons using materials and exercises that will have the student actively engage with new grammar, vocabulary, sentence and argument structure. My goal is not to just teach English but to inspire students to love to learn and use English based on their interests. My classes are very interactive and I try not to use grammar books but rather material (articles, talks, videos) online that are at a high, academic level of English.
For my interview and application preparation, we go through the students profile, interests, and history together before working on application essays and preparing answers to possible questions that may come up in interviews. Students are coached through interview situations and taught best-practices and given many times to practice and Improve their interview skills.
