Über Danielle
Danielle Akta is a soloist from an early age. Appearing as a soloist with prestigious orchestras, including the Israeli Philharmonic, Georgia Philharmonic, and Moscow philharmonic of Russia, in collaboration with renowned conductors such as Daniel Ettinger, Vladimir Spivakov and Julian Rachlin. She has graced renowned stages such as Carnegie Hall, Teatro colon, Roy Thompson hall, Chicago’s Symphony center and many more. Recognized as one of the leading cellists of her generation, and praised by music critics around the world including “Daily Gazette” and “Times Union”, Danielle received the ‘Oleg Yankovsky’ Prize for Artistic Discovery, and has been a recipient of the America-Israel Cultural Foundation scholarships since 2013. Along with these accolades, Danielle has taken part in renowned festivals including Verbier, Kronberg and Tbilisi festivals, and has completed her Bachelor at the Barenboim Said Akademie at 2024.

I believe that a great teacher is defined not only by their ability to convey knowledge or inspire motivation but by their capacity to adapt to their students. A teacher truly excels when they understand their students’ unique needs, strengths, circumstances, and goals. It is only through this understanding that a teacher can unlock and nurture a student’s full potential.
In recent years, I’ve pursued my passion for teaching, something I’ve always aspired to do after observing the limitations in many traditional pedagogical approaches to instrumental mastery in classical music. Through my experiences, I’ve developed innovative practice strategies, a flexible and adaptive mindset, a precise and efficient technical framework, and, most importantly, a deep understanding of the mental approach required to truly connect with an instrument—an often-overlooked aspect of musical education.

Perfekt! Danielle is a passionate and dedicated teacher. She shows great patience with me, even when I struggle to follow her instructions. She offers helpful tips to correct my mistakes and improve my playing. Her explanations are clear and easy to understand, making learning enjoyable.
