Über Rhys
I am an experienced English teacher with more than 20 years of teaching experience. The majority of which has been focused on private students and one-to-one classes. I have a lot of experience with students whose first language is either Spanish, Portuguese, French. I have also taught English in Korea, England, Japan, China and Vietnam.
I offer general English coaching courses (30 euros/hour)
In addition, I have developed a specialist Business and executive English coach
specifically for professionals who need English for work purposes. This courses requires
a minimum of INTERMEDIATE/B2 level of English to start and focuses on presentations, meetings,
interviews and writing reports while using more advanced business English vocabulary and terminology.

I am a fluent Portuguese, and Spanish, so I know what it is like to learn a new language, to feel frustrated, and to feel happy when you improve!
I can focus on typical errors that English learners tend to make and help you correct these common mistakes as well as improve your English more generally.
I have prepared many students for the IELTS, FCE, Advanced, Proficiency, TRINITY exams.
I have long experience with professional/business English classes. I have taught at many large, important companies such as; Accenture, KPMG, PWC, Deloitte, Fox TV, and many others.

My methodolgy is based upon the needs of each individual student. Every student has a different class plan based on their personal needs.
- I will give you a small English test, and a written test to evaluate your level.
- Based on this information I will give you a list of grammatical mistakes that we will work on together.
- I ask students to write a text for me for homework every week. We will analyse your written English together in class and correct your mistakes.
- There will also be extensive conversation, and some grammar practice, in each class.
- I will give you feedback at the end of each lesson, and a full feedback report at the end of each month.
- You can see your progress in a clear way.
