Über Julie
I'm Jules, a 27-year-old ESL teacher from the UK with a British neutral accent. In 2019, I made the transition from a classroom teacher in Hong Kong to an online ESL to be able to work remotely and travel freely.
While I'm new to Superprof as a platform, I've been teaching online for the last three years and have a strong student base in Spain, Portugal, France and Germany.
You must know, I'm not only a textbook teacher but I genuinely care about the development of my current and past students and will do my ultimate best to help you reach your goals in English.

Hey future students!
I'm Jules, an experienced and qualified EFL teacher from the UK.
- Okay, that's nice! But which subjects do you teach?
I teach English as a Foreign Language. I offer general English and conversational classes but I also have two years of experience in CAE exam preparation.
In our first lesson, we'll set goals your goals together and I'll develop lesson content focused on reaching those goals.
The majority of my students come to me feeling unconfident and so creating a fun and non-judgmental environment where they can practise and build their confidence in English is a big priority of mine.
- Cool, are you qualified?
Yes, I am TEFL and CELTA qualified. I have been teaching teenagers and adults 1-1 online for 4 years but beforehand worked as a primary school teacher in Hong Kong.
- And how long do your lessons last?
The typical length of my lesson is 60 minutes and the majority of my students are late teens and adults. I normally see each student once or twice a week depending on availability!
- What level do you teach?
I work mostly with intermediate to advanced students (B1-C2).
- Do you only teach online?
Yes only online I'm afraid! I am a digital nomad which means I work and travel remotely. But this is no way affects the quality of my lessons.
