Über Gabriela
I am 18 years old (nearly 19) and I just graduated from high school (UWC Robert Bosch) in May 2023. I am currently doing a Gap Year so I could apply for universities in the United States, volunteer, and work to gain experience and save money for my studies. Outside of the classroom I have dedicated a lot of my time to climate activism, volunteering in period and economic poverty projects, and swimming. I am from Porto, Portugal but I am always somewhere else (for instance, now in Osnabrück) and I come from a middle-lower income family so I enjoy simplicity and hard-work. I am passionate about teaching and helping others because I find education to be the greatest catalyst for positive change in our societies. After being in an international school with more than 90 different nationalities, I couldn't be more excited to get to know and share with a student from outside of Portugal! I am quite dynamic and open for new experiences and ways of learning!

My lessons are personalised regarding your educational needs! I have experience teaching English in Porto, Portugal on a 1-to-1 basis. In high school I studied fully in English (International Baccalaureate) as a scholar of the UWC Robert Bosch and The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. I am starting university in the United States in August 2024 due to this accomplishments. I consider myself to have a great emotional inteligence and I have been using these attributes to access people's needs and mood better. Being a young teacher has proved to be beneficial for the student in terms of comfort, patience, and understanding of necessities. I am open and dynamic. For instance, if you feel like going for a walk and interact with the real world to learn with practice I would totally support it! Please feel free to send me a message regarding anything!
