Über Alison
As for my own motivation on why to start this sort of proyecto, is mainly to share my passion for tennis with children and teenagers, and lastly to solvent my student life here.
For the past year while training and on the court, I’ve noticed how some trainers conducted their lessons with teenagers (that just started learning tennis), what they taught first and how when they made mistakes, most of the time because of lack of correction, they got pessimistic about their progress because of their underperformance. Or even worst overestimating ones progress on the court, instead of actually working towards real skill.
(Note that I also had this experiences)
I found this disappointing and discouraging towards them, that’s why I’ve noted some ideas and started applying them to my own trainings (as I said before, with my friends) and since I saw results, I wanted to try and share them.

If you are a newbie on the sport and are interested in learning the basics or if you want to develop your skills on tennis, this lessons are ideal for you.
I’ve been playing Tennis since I was 6 years old, played some tournaments as a junior and have been playing for fun since I’ve moved to Vienna. So far I’ve taught 3 of my friends how to play tennis from scratch. I did it first because I had no one to play with and second because affording a trainer here is quite expensive. They all came to a fairly good technique and can play tennis properly. Fun fact: one of them is now so invested with it that he started playing matches in HobbyLiga.
The methods I used to teach them are similar to the ones used in the Tennis Academies I’ve played for so far (Peruvian Tennis Federation and the ones we use with my current coach). I’ve also done and do research on it to enrich my own game, knowledge that I also apply on the training of my friends.
With me a lesson would start at the T-line, then the baseline, working the ground strokes (forehand, backhand and slice). Then we move to volleys and smashes, then we correct the serve.
Depending on your level and advancement the exercises would adapt to your needs, meaning: footwork reinforcements, different drill variations and also individual notes about what could you work on outside of the court on your own.
It would be also possible only to book me as a sparring partner.
