Über Miya
am from Harbin, a city in northeastern China. The climate there is very similar to that of Vienna. Harbin is also known for having one of the most standard pronunciations of Mandarin in China. I hold a National Level 2-A Mandarin Proficiency Certificate.
Beyond teaching, I have a deep passion for life—I love children, enjoy sports, and have a keen interest in cooking. My classes are lively, engaging, and full of energy. I integrate Chinese traditional culture, customs, and everyday conversational language into my lessons.
In class, I use interactive games to encourage students to speak more and often incorporate conversation-based learning to create a natural and immersive experience. This approach helps me build strong connections with my students.

I am from China and hold a Master of Science degree from Northeastern University. With a passion for teaching and 10 years of experience, I am currently in Vienna for academic exchange. I speak English and have been teaching online for the past two years.
So far, I have taught more than five students in Austria, ranging in age from 5 to 30 years old, with a total of approximately 1,00 hours of online teaching experience.
I truly enjoy when students ask questions in class and love sharing stories about China. I strive to create an open and positive learning environment where students feel encouraged and engaged.
