Über Stephanie
I am half German, half Korean and was born and raised in Berlin, Germany. Being exposed to two cultures by nature has sparked my interest in foreign cultures and languages early on.
Since high school I have been highly interested in foreign languages. Therefore, I decided to study languages eventually. After having finished my Master's of Education in English and French, I have spent most of my time abroad both teaching at schools and online, but also travelling. Meanwhile, I have 5 years of teaching experience in public and private schools. I have taught both primary and secondary but also adults throughout.
In terms of my teaching qualifications, I have obtained the 2nd Staatsexamen (highest educational degree in Germany) in English and French. In terms of German, I have obtained the diploma to teach German as a Second and Foreign language by the Goethe Institute 2 years ago.
Travelling undoubtedly is one of my biggest passions and has taught me some of life's most important lessons. It also made me realize over and over again how important communication is, both verbal and non-verbal, in order to actually get in touch with and get to know new people, cultures and places.
Being able to speak a new (foreign) language is an asset that opens many doors to a new world in a variety of ways.
Therefore, being a language teacher is an incredibly enriching and rewarding profession that I have come to appreciate more and more in recent years thanks to different experiences. Being able to give learners access to a new language, helping them with their progress and guiding them to achieve their personal goals is amazing to observe and always my top priority.

My in-class as well as online language classes are personalized, hands-on, interactive and always tailored to the student's needs. I focus on creating a warm, fun, engaging and productive learning atmosphere in which the students feel comfortable to learn, thrive and master their language goals.
I teach every level from beginner, intermediate to advanced. Topics/themes/contents as well as teaching and learning materials will be discussed together.
