An extraordinary teacher! He explains everything in detail. In just one hour, he manages to cover everything possible, just like in a real music school. I studied with him for two years in Madrid, and only stopped because I left Spain. I still can't find a replacement for him!

He sido alumno de Gustavo durante varios años, cuando impartía clases en Madrid. Llegué a él porque me lo recomendaron y si no se hubiera trasladado de domicilio, seguiría como alumno suyo. Todo lo que sé de solfeo, lenguaje musical y técnica interpretativa, lo he aprendido de él , estudiando si, pero bajo su dirección y con su paciencia, fui aprendiendo lo necesario para poder continuar ahora con el estudio del piano y de la música.

I took piano lessons with Gustavo for five years in Madrid. I was able to reach a solid level quite quickly thanks to his methodical approach to teaching. He is a wonderful pianist with great musical taste, and he is deeply dedicated to his work.

His lessons are very well structured, covering all the areas a pianist needs to develop in order to make the most of their practice time: score reading, music theory, musical analysis, and performance across different styles and historical periods (Baroque, Classical, etc.). He taught me the discipline and patience that learning the piano requires, as well as how to build steady, progressive improvement over time.

He can also teach modern styles, such as jazz and contemporary music, and he is very flexible in adapting lessons to the student’s interests and goals. He even organized small concerts for his students, which was a very rewarding experience.

I had some previous notions of piano, but Gustavo has taught me everything I know. His lessons are very well structured. In class, you don’t just play the exercises or the piece you’re working on at home — you also practice scales, arpeggios, dictations, and important concepts from music theory. He is very patient, an excellent teacher, and he really encourages you to play. I’m very grateful and happy that he has been my piano teacher.

I studied with Gustavo for five years, and would probably still be with him, if he hadn't left Madrid. For me the most important thing was that he was equally at home teaching classical piano, jazz piano, blues, or whatever. That's not easy to find. It was a very complete musical education, and completely transformed my relationship with the piano.

Ich beschloss als Erwachsener, ohne jegliche musikalische Vorkenntnisse, Klavierunterricht zu nehmen und begann bei Gustavo mit wöchentlichen Stunden. Von Anfang an war ich überrascht, wie vielseitig er als Lehrer ist. Sein Unterricht verband Theorie, Solfège und Klavierpraxis auf sehr ausgewogene Weise. Er war intensiv, sehr unterhaltsam und man lernte immer etwas Neues.
Gustavo achtet sehr auf Details und gibt präzise Korrekturen. Er schlägt Verbesserungen der Technik vor, um jedes Stück korrekt spielen zu können. Außerdem schaffte er es immer, jede Stunde abwechslungsreich und unterhaltsam zu gestalten, indem er Anekdoten und nützliche Tipps teilte.
Ich kann ihn wärmstens empfehlen: Er ist ein wahres Klaviergenie, erklärt sehr verständlich, hat viel Geduld und man merkt ihm an, dass er mit Leidenschaft unterrichtet.

Gustavo es el mejor profesor que conozco, su método de piano es muy efectivo tanto para adultos como para niños. Cada semana es un reto de aprendizaje y en poco tiempo consigues grandes cambios, te animo a probar!

Gustavo fue mi primer profesor de piano cuando decidí aprender con 35 años y sin saber nada de música. Sus clases están muy bien estructuradas, abarcando lenguaje musical, solfeo, técnica…Son lo más completas que he encontrado. Además es muy cercano y hace las clases muy amenas. Me dio mucha pena cuando se fue de Madrid porque me hubiese gustado seguir aprendiendo con él.
