Über Fernando
I am a professional composer in experimental music. Since about 20 years I work with ensembles, orchestras and soloist from around the world. I also compose music and do sound design for films and theatre productions. I have a strong background in pop and electronic music as well.
I was a professor in Music Creation for 9 years at the bachelor in Music at UNTREF University, in Argentina. And a freelance teacher later on.
I have a Master in Mixed Music/Multimedia Composition form Haute École de Musique de Genève. I have as well a Master in Open Creation/Improvisation from FHNW Musik Hochoschule Basel. I studied at Cursus at IRCAM (Centre Pompidou, Paris) and further composition studies at Harvard University. I have a Bachelor degree from UNC.

The classes are based on what you need to learn to develop your personal expression, whether you want to start creating beats or songs from scratch, or if you already have experience, to acquire new tools and develop new criteria for creation. I also work coaching band producitons.
The classes cover the full spectrum of composition training.
Technical aspects:
- Work with softwares like Ableton Live, Reaper, Max for live, and others to produce sounds and structures, recording, mixing.
- Develope and customize your tools to play live.
Composition:
- Work on your ideas and other excercises.
- Develop listening skills on different genres to discover how music works.
- Discuss about music aesthetics to develop your personal expression.
Video: Create and edit videos for your music project.
I work on Ableton Live, Max for live, and Reaper as the main softwares. But we can work on any software you like. Video is taught on Arena, Jitter, Da Vinci or Premiere
