Über Yana
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Songwriting and completed a five-year professional vocal program at a singing academy prior to my studies. This early training led me to participate in The Voice of Bulgaria, where I reached the finals and placed in the Top 3 at just 14 years old - an experience that shaped both my technical foundation and performance confidence.
For the past two years, I’ve been working professionally as a singer, songwriter, and performer, releasing original music under my artistic project Bentez. My work has accumulated over 10 million streams across platforms, and I’ve had the pleasure of performing live internationally, including opening for established German acts and collaborating on music for upcoming film and TV projects.
Alongside my artistic career, I’m deeply passionate about teaching. I combine solid vocal technique, real-world industry experience, and a nurturing teaching style to help students develop a healthy, confident voice and their own unique sound.

From performing on stage to recording vocals in professional studios, I’ve learned how to bring out the best in a voice - both technically and emotionally. My teaching approach prioritises healthy vocal technique and confidence, helping students develop a strong, sustainable voice without strain or pressure. I focus on making singing feel easy, authentic, and connected, so you can trust your voice and enjoy using it.
Each lesson usually includes 25–30 minutes of warm-ups and targeted technique exercises, including areas like belting, vibrato, range, or control, depending on the student's goals and my professional assessment. The remaining time is spent working on a song we choose together, going through it section by section to strengthen weak spots and refine what already works.
A key focus of my teaching is a nurturing, detail-oriented approach and the ability to recognise whether a voice is being used in a healthy and sustainable way in order to establish a foundation to build on. As an active artist and songwriter, I can also support students interested in improvisation or songwriting.
Lessons are open to teens and adults of all genders and levels!

Yana, is such a good teacher, very good at helping students to visualize techniques, honestly after one lesson I already sang infinitely more confident and better.
