Über Elisabeth
My name is Elisabeth and I´m an enthusiastic german teacher. I studied comparing literature (PhD) and philosophy and worked over 10 years in theatre in Germany and Portugal. In Porto I also started to teach german to university students. Now I´m based in Berlin. I teach german at Goethe Institut Berlin, give company courses and teach german to nurses and doctors. I like working methodical and thereby creating learning strategies for my students.

In my german class I want to prepare you for your life in german speaking society. Therefore I work scenario-based, that means, we simulate everyday situations and discuss latest topics, that´s fun. The aim is to make you as independent as possible through domination of language.
In the beginning I do a placement test with you to discover your needs. Then we decide together, what shall be the focus of your lessons (speaking, listening, writing, reading, special vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, work situations, literature...). We work with course books, handouts, exercises, games, homework and all kind of media to make you fit for all day life.

I found myself really enjoying learning german with Lisa. Her enthusiasm and friendly manner bring a good vibe to the class. She is extremely patient with me although I've made the same mistake repeatedly.
