Über Julie
During my career, I have won many national and international prizes and awards; in 2022 I won first Prize in «Savshinsky International Music Competition», in 2021 and 2019 she won 1st prize in «Stockholm International Music Competition» and in 2020 I won 1st Prize in «The North International Music Competition». I have also been a soloist with many different orchestras and wind bands, both European, national, regional and locals. In 2015, I performed as a soloist with the European youth symphony orchestra BISYOC on their tour in Norway. I have so far played concert in these countries: Norway, Sweden, Denmark, England, Malta, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Taiwan, Germany and Austria. I have amongst others performed at these festivals and concert series; «Festspillene i Bergen», «Borealis Festival», «Kvinnelige Spor i Musikkhistorien Galleri Athene», «Gutvik Ukentlig», «Halvorsen Musikkfest», Oslo Operafestival» og «Sildajazz Haugesund».

I have long experience with teaching flute both as a privat teacher and as a substitute indifferent music schools in Norway, such as Drammen Kulturskole and Oslo Kulturskole. I already have a small group of young students, but would really like to extend with more students. I’m good at adapting my teaching method to the students’ needs and am also very flexible. I always focuse on my students‘ personal development and the growth of their talent.
