I have 25 year commercial experience as a computer programmer and I would like to offer lessons in computer programming (English only).

I first started computer programming as a hobby when I was a child in the 1980's (on a ZX Spectrum computer) and then I started studying it in school (on a BBC computer), then when I did my degree in Mathematics at the University of Bristol I studied more computer programming.
And after 25 years of working for a wide variety of different companies in London, Amsterdam, Weesp, Zurich, Zug, Berlin, Munich and now Bonn, computer programming is all I know.
I've worked mostly in the banking sector, but also market research, list brokers, TV, Fashion, maritime, telecommunications and the British government.
I've got dyslexia so I make use of all the spell checking tools I can but don't be surprised if I have some spelling mistakes or another classic dyslexia treat is forgetting names.

Most of my 25 years experience is in VBA, in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access, as well as database with Microsoft SQL, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL and SQLite. I also have some experience of Python, Java, C++, C#, Objective-C and other computer programming languages.
These topics would be of most interest to someone working as an Analyst, or building reports, there are plenty of jobs which still involve working with Microsoft Excel and some jobs that involve working with Microsoft Access.
I can walk you though some examples, in order to give you an idea about different concepts and learn the basics of principles. I like to focus on keeping computer code readable and easy to maintain because that is critical in a working environment.
The biggest cost to any programming project is maintenance, which totally dwarfs initial development costs, so keeping code easy to work with is absolutely critical, it also makes your day more pleasant that your not working with spaghetti code all the time.
But also if you have any current work that you want me to look at then we can do that.
