Über Sophie
I studied German as a foreign language and currently wrapping up my masters. I apply modern teaching methods in my classes which are proven useful in academia. I have several years of teaching experience in Germany and abroad.
Apart from teaching languages I also like learning them. I speak English, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian. So I also see it from the learner's perspective.
I am a cheerful person, interested in getting to know my students and helping them express themselves comfortably. :-)

I give motivating lessons with the most recent teaching methods.
The activities in class are diverse and fun. Apart from the German book, I use a lot of extra material, partly created by me. We for example work with songs and videos or play games.
To my mind it's very important to teach authentic German and train oral capacities in order to use the German you learn in real life situations. It's important for me that you have the chance to speak a lot in the classes and that you feel confident doing so!
In general I focus on the students' needs and on what they want to reach. I can prepare you for exams, such as Telc or Goethe etc., but also just to have German everyday conversation with locals.
Classes can be online or in person, for example in a coffee shop in Munich where you can directly train your speaking skills in an authentic situation.
