Über Peter
My background is in theoretical gravitational physics with a focus on black holes and gravitational waves. I completed my PhD at the Guelph Waterloo Physics Institute in Canada in 2015. I then did postdoctoral research at the University of Arizona and the Max Planck Institute For Gravitational Physics (Albert Einstein Institute) in Potsdam, Germany. Through my research, I've discovered some fascinating insights into the nature of the strange and elusive force we call "gravity". I am lifelong learner and tech enthusiast that loves problem solving and teaching.

I think many people find physics difficult because it is poorly taught. Traditional methods rely too much on mathematical theory, leaving students without a grasp of the big picture which is to understand nature and the world around us through equations and experiments. My teaching methods are focused on developing solid problem solving skills and modeling techniques with the goal of application. I believe that visualization is a great learning tool, and I use diagrams and plots to illustrate concepts when possible.
