Über Harry
Hi my name is Harry and I have been teaching English in Germany since 2020.
I am a native speaker originally from New Zealand, where I studied engineering before finding my passion in English teaching and then completing a Master of Arts in 2024 . I love to speak to unique people from around the world and help them on their journey of becoming more comfortable using the language and overcoming any hurdles they may face.

I particularly enjoy 1 on 1 interactions as I am able to tailor the experience to the individual with a combination of conversation, articles around your own particular area of interest, and grammar and vocabulary exercises and explanations where necessary. I am also fluent in German, having obtained a C1 certificate in 2021, this allows me to understand the issues german speakers often have with English and to quickly correct them.
My philosophy is that language learning should be enjoyable and based around your own interest so that you are able to relax and use the language without fear of mistakes. Over time this allows the development of your own individual expression of the language with the continuous addition of feedback from myself to gain fluency, accuracy and clarity of expression.
