Hi, I'm Moe!
I'm a native English speaker originally from California, now living in Berlin. I studied International Business at San Diego State University, and after graduating, I made the leap to move abroad — which meant learning to navigate an entirely new language and culture myself. I know what it's like to feel stuck between "I understand it in my head" and "I can actually say it out loud."
Before moving to Berlin, I worked in general education at the grade-school level, where I learned how to break down concepts patiently and explain things in ways that actually make sense — not just repeat rules until they stick.
These days, I combine that teaching background with real, everyday language: the kind you'd actually use with coworkers, friends, or while running errands — not just what's in a textbook. I build every lesson around you — your goals, your job, your interests — because language sticks best when it's tied to your real life.
And if Spanish is easier for you to lean on when we hit a tricky concept, no problem — it's my second language too.
