I’ve been taking German lessons with Arsenii for about four months, starting completely from scratch, and I’ve already reached a confident A2 level. We usually have lessons once or twice a week, and I’m very happy with the progress I’ve made.
Arsinii is incredibly responsible, well-prepared, and knows how to structure each lesson so that it is both useful and genuinely interesting. We try to speak as much German as possible during our sessions, while also making sure that the grammar and theory we learn are reinforced through practical exercises and real-life examples.
What I especially appreciate is that we don’t study German in isolation from the world where it is actually spoken. Since my teacher lives in Berlin, he often explains how the language is really used in everyday life, how it changes depending on context and culture, and what expressions or ways of speaking you are actually likely to hear in Germany. We also often talk about German culture and everyday life in the country, which makes the lessons feel much richer than simply studying vocabulary and grammar.
As a result, every lesson feels not just like a language class, but like an introduction to a new language, culture, and way of seeing the world.
Arsenii is also very competent, patient, and supportive. The atmosphere during the lessons is comfortable and encouraging, so making mistakes never feels stressful or embarrassing. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for structured, engaging, and practical German lessons.
