Über Nicolás
I am a music producer, composer and classically trained singer with a background in music theory, harmony, composition and music for video games.
My strongest areas are melody, hooks, chords, musical structure and developing ideas into complete pieces of music. My trained ear allows me to identify musical problems quickly and explain possible solutions in a clear and practical way.
I especially enjoy working with beginners, musicians, singers and songwriters who want to understand music production and become more independent when creating their own tracks.
My teaching approach is patient, structured and adapted to each student’s musical interests and experience.

My lessons are designed for beginners and intermediate students, especially musicians, singers, songwriters and producers who want to turn their musical ideas into finished tracks using Ableton Live.
For beginners, we can start from zero: understanding Ableton, creating beats, basslines, chords and melodies, recording simple ideas, arranging a track and learning the essential production tools without unnecessary technical complexity.
For intermediate students, we can work directly on existing projects and focus on melody, harmony, MIDI, arrangement, sound selection, workflow, creative problem-solving and finishing tracks. The exact content is adapted to your goals, experience and musical style.
Each lesson combines practical production with the musical concepts needed to understand your decisions. You can bring an existing project, or we can build a new track together step by step.
For in-person lessons, you can initially work on my computer, so you do not need to own Ableton before starting. We can also work with Ableton Live Trial, Intro or Lite and free instruments and effects.
Lessons are taught in English or Spanish, in Berlin or online.
The free 30-minute introductory session is used to discuss your goals, check your setup and decide on the most suitable learning path.
