Über Rebeka
I'm a journalist and I believe that learning a new language is having access to new ways of seeing and feeling the world.
I love listening to samba, dancing forró, and meeting people. I frequent museums, theaters, shows, and cinemas. I participate in yoga classes, I enjoy cycling in parks, and I go to the gym to prepare my muscles for dancing!
When I'm at the beach, I love stand-up paddleboarding and reading while feeling the sea breeze on my face.

I am a Brazilian journalist and I teach Brazilian Portuguese to foreigners who want to communicate naturally in work and travel contexts in Brazil.
My methodology is communicative and the classes are based on interaction. I use my journalistic experience to lead stimulating conversations on topics of interest to the student, always based on reliable sources of information.
Learning is done through real-life situations, news, Brazilian music, arts, history, and culture. Classes can also cover politics, economics, and trends.
I prepare students for job interviews in Portuguese.
During classes, I correct pronunciation and give tips that help improve pronunciation and fluency in Portuguese.
I speak English and Spanish, but I can help Germans overcome their biggest challenges with Portuguese, such as the sounds of the letter "R," nasal sounds like "ão," and the differentiation of vowel sounds.
In addition to teaching Portuguese, I work for a print newspaper in São Paulo and hold a Master's degree in Communication from the University of São Paulo (USP).
