Über Heidi
I'm a 22-year-old Australian and native English speaker currently living in Switzerland, where I am studying business and learning German.
Having learnt a new language myself, I understand how important it is to practise speaking regularly in order to build confidence and become comfortable expressing yourself without overthinking every word. I know that speaking a new language can feel intimidating, which is why I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment where you can practise without fear of making mistakes.
I am patient and adapt my speaking speed, vocabulary and explanations to each student's individual level and needs. I believe that understanding the "why" behind a language is just as important as learning the words, so I am always happy to explain expressions, pronunciation and differences in how English is used.
I would love to share my native English skills and help others experience the same benefits that practising speaking has given me while learning German. Whether you want to improve your conversation skills, pronunciation, vocabulary or simply feel more confident speaking English, I look forward to helping you reach your goals.

My lessons are relaxed, practical and adapted to each student's individual goals and level. I focus on creating a comfortable environment where students can build confidence through conversation and active practice.
A typical lesson may include conversation practice, vocabulary, pronunciation and useful grammar, depending on what the student wants to improve. I can also help with everyday English, speaking confidence and communication for school, travel or work.
As an Australian and native English speaker, I can help students understand the differences between British and American English, including variations in vocabulary, spelling and pronunciation.
My lessons are suitable for beginners to advanced learners of different ages who want to improve their English speaking skills, pronunciation, vocabulary or general confidence.
