Über Alyona
I am a 26-year-old cellist, have studied classical cello in Russia (Moscow), the Netherlands (Groningen) and currently studying jazz cello in Austria (Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität Linz). I am totally in love with my instrument, especially in jazz and classical music. I’ve been teaching cello for three years now and would be happy to infect you with this love too :) I speak three languages fluently: German, English and Russian.

I teach Soviet school of classical cello playing founded by Semyon Kozolupov, that was passed to me by my Moscow professor Igor Gavrysh. On top of that I can teach music theory and solfege, if needed. Both jazz and classical. And jazz improvisation as well, if you wish! :)
Important!
If you want to study online, that would only make sense if you already are an intermediate level. If not, I strongly recommend we start the basics in person (at least for a year). Musical instrument is a very physical thing, so some details are impossible to explain only in words, you need to feel them with your body. And after you’ve got the feeling of the instrument, we can continue online.
