Über Laura
Olá! My name is Laura and I have been teaching languages professionally for about 4 years. I fell in love with teaching when I was 19 and started working at a language school in Brazil, where I taught English to children and adults. After a brief hiatus for my studies here in Leipzig, I have begun following my passion in teaching again. Since then, I have been honing my skills as a language specialist, expanding my experiences teaching and translating. I have a master's degree from the University of Leipzig in American Studies, and I specialize in US and Latin American popular culture and literature. I have experience teaching German to Portuguese speakers, as well as Portuguese to German speakers. Throughout the years, I have helped various people reach their language goals with lightheartedness and a lot of fun!

In my lessons, I will include fun linguistic and etymological facts, mixing popular culture so that you are able to connect the course material with your own experiences, and apply what you learn in a practical and objective way outside the classroom.
